We are excited to announce the upcoming AA Convention  October 10-12, with Al-Anon Participation

This year's theme is Love and Service, which comes from AA's very first international convention in Ohio in 1950.  Dr. Bob remarked that "Our Twelve Steps, when simmered down to the last, resolve themselves into the words “love” and “service.”

Alanon will have an amazing speaker’s panel on Sat. afternoon starting at 2:30. Fellowship with refreshments will follow until about 5:30pm.

There will be a skit which Al-Anon is participating in, an ice cream social and more (see brochure)

Alanon literature will also be available and sign up slots are available to help distribute free literature (see Elizabeth H. or Valerie J.)

Your admission ticket of $50 covers 3 days of the convention and includes the chance to attend open AA meetings, which we are encouraged to do to increase our understanding of the disease of alchoholism 

Al-Anon is offering some scholarships for those who may need finanical assistance
