  • Convention Planning Committee
    The Santa Barbara AA Convention with Al-Anon Participation is held annually on the second to the last Saturday in October. This portion of the Members-Only section is devoted to memorializing the work of the Al-Anon Convention Committee for future trusted servants.

      District 8 bylaws are a formalization of how the district as an entity and as individuals belonging to that entity conduct our affairs. The bylaw documents define our purpose, membership, meetings, the service board and its duties, finances and rules of procedure.

      This is an historical archive of District 8 Meeting minutes. The current year, plus one calendar year are kept in this area, and the older minutes are kept in the Meeting Minutes Archive.

      This is an historical archive of all recorded Treasurer Reports for District 8 back to 2002.

    This is an historical archive of Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office Word document of the printed meeting lists (directories) that are updated, printed, and distributed monthly to District 8 meetings.

    In this audio library you will find MP3 files of the speakers from the Saturday Speakers Meeting. Step Twelve reminds us that sharing our story is carrying this message to others. Tradition Eight states, "Al-Anon Twelfth Step work should remain forever non-professional...." In keeping with the spirit of Step Twelve and Tradition Eight, the audio files in this library are free to download by all Al-Anon District 8 members.
